The Amazing Moments in Life

I was on my Pinterest and I saw this. I was like, this is so true!

So, the amazing moments in life:

1. Coming home late and going straight to bed.
2. Buying amazing clothes that you found on sale.
3. Holding hands.
4. Unexpected moments that become your favorite memories.
5. Talking on the phone until five in the morning.
6. Resting on someone's chest.
7. Taking long showers that wash away your worries.
8. Feeling as though you finally belong somewhere.
9. Deciding what you want to do with your life.
10. Feeling satisfied after a delicious meal.
11. Falling asleep instantly when you're upset.
12. Meeting people that happen to change your life.
13. When you have a great night of sleep.
14. Drinking a cup of tea.
15. Realizing everything is going to be okay.

Maddie

Rain and PJ's

So it hasn't rained where I live since before May... ;( I absolutely love rain! I miss it so bad! But, since Friday it's been rainy! I'm so happy! It's starting to get cooler also! Instead of 110 it's about 80! So happy! Praise the Lord!

Like I said in my last post, I've been in such a Christmas mood! I seriously am going to listen to Christmas music today. Maybe...probably. :)

So, who else is obsessed with cute PJ's? I know I am! So in honor of lazy rainy days and staying in your PJ's all day...

Love the rain, pj's, fat pants, and Christmas,

Why You Shouldn't Drop French Class

Okay, so as soon as school started, like one or two people in my class dropped it. I didn't understand why they would ever want to do that! Here are some Pros and Cons of learning French:

  1. French is just plain classy. It just is! French is the most romantic language in the world and no other language can match it's beauty and preciseness.
  2. Hardly anyone takes this course. Everyone will usually choose Spanish over French - at least the majority will. So French classes are usually pretty small.
  3. You can easily tell if some one's speaking French, whereas with Spanish, Portuguese, Romanian etc. it is harder to tell what language they are actually speaking for the first minute or so.
  4. Learning a foreign language and having the chance to be bilingual will open up a lot more job and travel related jobs for you. When you have this on your college applications they will think of you as well-rounded and you will stand out from the crowd.
  5. Even knowing just a few words in French will make you look amazing. You can say ANYTHING, "I like to roll around in dog poop." (J'aime rouler dans merde de chien), for instance, and you will sound stunning.
The French language is just beautiful. Don't, however, study French if you have no interest in it or it's culture. You will get terrible grades if you have no passion to learn it. I marched to the beat of my own drum and took the class because I have always been interested in France - The French Revolution, Marie Antoinette, Versailles, etc.

You should really study French. I think you'll enjoy it.

Bad Girl Names in the Bible

I'm writing a skit for a Ladies' Slumber Party for my Grandma's church. It's talking about how the chocolate making process is like the way Jesus works on you and what happens to your "chocolate" if you disobey God or do things your way or something along those lines. You're chocolate will turn out gritty or bitter, etc. If you are dedicated, listen to the Holy Spirit, and turn away from sin, your "chocolate" will turn out like fine, expensive, delicious, yummy chocolate.

So, I had to research women in the Bible who had those qualities(The skit is from their perspective and talking about their lives). I decided to use Jezebel, Delilah, and Mary Magdalene.  Before I finished deciding which ladies I'd use, I had to research around and look at different stories from the Bible. I found this site about Bad Girls in the Bible and if you should or should not use their names for your children because some of them are pretty names, but...you know. Anyway, the lady who wrote it is funny and great at explaining the names! So check it out! Pretty interesting.

Christmas Thoughts In September

I've been on Pinterest.com a lot lately...I don't know why. Oh, wait. Yes, I do, because it's addicting...

Anyway...today's subject.  CHRISTMAS

Yes, I know it's September. No, I don't care. I love Christmas, not just because of Jesus (the true meaning of Christmas y'all), but also because of the weather, the lights, the spirit, the joy! For me the Christmas season feeling you get in your stomach (you know the feeling) is the exact same as the feeling of LOVE (we all know that feeling too...hopefully). It makes me grin equally as much. :D

Let me break it down...

Christmas When I'm Alone:

Turning off all the lights, lighting some candles, turning on John Mayer station on Pandora, wrapping up in a fluffy blanket, drinking some hot chocolate, and scenting your house with cinnamon!

Christmas With Friends:

Same exact thing, but we are all cuddled together watching ELF :D

Be In Tune With the Moon!

This is SUCH a cool, artistic way of how to be in tune with the moon. We just had a full moon on Friday so that means we are in the Waning Moon stage. This is from www.artfulwoman.com. Isn't this just awesome?!

How TO and How NOT to Wear Cheetah Print

So, I've noticed Cheetah print has become quite the thing lately. I'm pretty excited about it because I LOVE cheetah print. I don't know why...I am just drawn to it. Recently, I bought a pair of cheetah sandals with braiding detail on the sides...so cute. Rae bought some cheetah flats and a backpack. :)

Cheetah has a way of making things look cheep, so watch the way you use it. Make sure it's classy!!! Now, I'm going to show you a few ways NOT to wear cheetah print! After I'll show you how TO wear it.

 Ready? OK!

HOW TO NOT WEAR CHEETAH PRINT:

OK, well the issue with this one is...it's just bad. The styling of the whole outfit is just not tasteful. The print just swallows her up...

Yeah, just no. It's tacky.

Yeah, I think this is a dog's dress, but I'm not sure. Anyway, that's not the point! Red and Cheetah DO NOT MIX! It's trashy!!!

HOW TO WEAR CHEETAH PRINT:

See, this is cute! Just a touch of cheetah in your shoes!

Accessorize with cheetah! It's a classy way to have a wild side in your wardrobe.

Cheetah Shorts...I think YES! How chic is this? So cute!

I always get up and stretch when no one is looking.

How about when people are looking? Well, you can do these exercises when people are looking without getting that "Whaaaa?" look. So check it out!:D
