June 27, 2012 - Face Masks

So last week us girls decided to do face masks! On my Mom I made her this avocado, honey, oatmeal, lemon juice mask. It looked like...yeah...so Mom wanted to post about it on Facebook! The first picture I took to upload had the flash on...so it looked very, very green...we all laughed for 10 mins.

Second try worked! So here's a pic.!

Notice the crumbles on her shirt...

Rae's face mask was honey, cinnamon, and nutmeg! Smelled soooo good! I was in a good mood and wanted to help her relax...So I turned on Pandora Radio and tried to find a Relaxation playlist. All the playlists I found were really creepy sounding...there was nothing else relaxing so we settled for that.

"Hot towels!" I thought. "So perfect!" Note to self...always feel the towels before putting them on your sister's face. After the screams/delirious laughter things just went down hill from there. I have a bad "habit" of laughing and laughing and laughing when I'm tired. It was only about midnight at the time, but I was soooo tired. So in this "relaxing" environment I was laughing hysterically while putting too hot towels on her face. I can't help that I laugh...

So, I felt really bad about all my waisted effort...I just made her kind of upset. Then she started laughing and we were BFF again. Don't you just love how sisters can go from enemies and then back to BFF in 10 seconds flat just from laughing? It's a magical thing really!

So, in the end it was worth it because she laughed and relieved some her stress after all.

Born and Raised (John Mayer) Review

So I bought this CD a couple of weeks ago, expecting it to be a typical John Mayer CD with his usual city slicker, stoned, and guitary (yes I just now made up that word...you're welcome) sound.  However, when I started to listen to this CD it was a mix of folk and country-ish blended with his usually New York City tunes. At first I was like "NNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!  What the heck was my John-John smoking when he made this CD (bu-dum-ch....)?". 

I was so distraught because I was having withdraws from his normal awesomeness but, I forced myself to keep listening.  After listening a couple of times, I decided "If I Ever Get Around To Living" and "Whiskey, Whiskey, Whiskey" are actually pretty good and I found myself just randomly singing them at the top of my lungs (with Tay) at our local grocery store (very freakishly late at night I might add, for one of our late cottage cheese runs). 

Then I took fancy to the rest of the songs and realized this weird thought...this is perfect camping music!  I want to go camping.  Do you want to go camping? We should go camping.  I was attacked by a squirrel once when I went camping (not really, I'm trying to be funny. I wish I had a story that cool. - Just as I typed that sentence a whole fleet of ninja squirrels broke through my window and nibbled on me relentlessly!!! Help me!!!) aldkjf;alksdfj;ldkjf;dsaklf   Sorry for that random typing, one squirrel with nun-chucks rubbed his hiney on my keyboard and stole my back space key.  

Got to go, he just run off with my wallet.

June 26, 2012 - Target Fun

Rae and I (Tay) went to Target because when we there the other day I walked out forgetting all about this cute dress I wanted to buy! (It's was Rae's fault actually, but let's not play the blame game lol) Anyway, I didn't find the dress again in my size...I was kind of upset because it's VERY hard for me to buy a dress from Target because I'm 5'4 and the dresses are made for girls that are about 5'8...So I found a rare gem and then lost it possibly forever! ;(

We did have a good time though! Rae was tad (not just a tad) on the obnoxious side because she was exhausted from taking the accuplacer test. Two delirious girls on a shopping spree...yeah, that sounds nice :)

While looking in the accessories we stumbled upon some reading glasses that looked like something my mom had in the 80's! I guess they were going for some kind of "Nerd Chic" thing...I really don't know. So I just had to try them on! Before looking at the picture, I'd like to say - My lip's aren't that thin! I was biting my lip and making a face!!!! OK, once you have read the red, you can look:

 













Pretty sexy, huh?  Again I repeat, my lip's aren't that thin! I was biting my lip and making a face!!!!
